The Easter Bunny Came!!

Joe and I were still asleep when Lauren came into our room asking if she could go downstairs to see her basket and to begin our traditional egg hunt. Cole, on the otherhand, wasn't with her, but a minute or two later, up the stairs he came (not down) with a plastic egg full of jelly beans in his hand yelling to us "WOOK!", "Egg", "Candy!". Apparently, he discovered his basket full of goodies from the Easter Bunny before we could all go downstairs! A week before spring break began I got a coupon in the mail for 1 free bowling game. So, last Saturday, we took the kids bowling. Joe won, but during the middle of the game Cole was runner-up, but I finally got it together and managed to beat my 2-year-0ld. I know, it's quite the accomplishment ;) The kids had a great time and Cole was happy with just pushing his ball so long as he got to wear a pair of those nifty bowling shoes :D As you can see, they are very cute!

Easter Cookies

The kids along with their friend, Natalie help me cut out and decorate Easter cookies! Of course, they couldn't resist and ate some along the way, but managed to save a few for the Easter Bunny, however, Joe and Cole didn't know this and wound up eating them all up before Easter! Lauren was not pleased! So, Joe endured his scolding AND lecture ;) The picture of the little, fuzzy yellow chicks is one of my gifts my grandma gave me!
